The DigitalMasterclass African Safari and Silverback Gorilla photography day is an unique wildlife photographic experience. Available for all levels of photographic skills. We have negotiated special early entry to the park and close up access to Wildebeest, Zebra, Ostrich, Giraffe, Black Rhino, Eland, Przewalski's Horses, Bison and various types of Deer. We have also arranged an exclusive VIP African Safari experience, see below.

We will normally work in groups of up to 12 and will be attended by 2 qualified professional photographic tutors.

The day will start with a health and safety briefing, which is an essential part of the day due to the access we will enjoy. This is then followed by a short lecture, giving hints and tips on getting the most out of the day from a photographic perspective.

VIP African Safari

We will use a specially constructed open sided safari vehicle, so there are no windows to hinder your photography. Our driver is able to stop and take time to get that special shot. This experience is very different from the normal hop on ride offered to the public, that will stay to a predetermined timetable. We will take our time, stop where we need to stop and we will be able to revisit areas of interest.

Privileged Access to Gorillas, Baby Gorillas and Huge Silverbacks, during feeding times

DigitalMasterclass have negotiated special access, allowing you right up to the wall of the enclosure moat that forms the boundary. This access is not available to the general public. You will be able to photograph the gorillas little more than 10 feet away.An amazing photographic experience.

As you can imagine, the cost of running this facility is very high, but the conservation work is vital for the survival of these animals. By attending our workshop you will not only have a fabulous day with unique opportunities to photograph and get close to these magnificent animals, but you will also be helping to support an extremely important breeding programme for these endangered species.
