6 Day Northern Lights Iceland Photography Trip
Tuesday 9th October 2012 Fully booked, waiting list available
Tuesday 16th April 2013 Good availablity
This Iceland photography trip will be an unmissable opportunity to work alongside Paul and Brian. You will need to be fairly fit as there will be a certain amount of walking included, and be prepared for some cold weather and late nights.
Paul and Brian, will be on hand for tips and guidance as you capture the natural beauty of Iceland. Throughout the trip you will have informal critiques of your work and one to one time with Paul and Brian. However, this trip is less of a structured Masterclass but more of an amazing photographic opportunity. We will be staying along the south shore of Iceland in a friendly comfortable hotel: Hotel Höfðabrekka. This boasts 4 naturally geothermal heated hot tubs with a comfortable temp of 38°C, enabling us to relax after a hard day of photography (so bring your cossie!).
We will be staying on a bed and breakfast tariff, in single en suite rooms. However if you are traveling with someone else and you are happy to share a twin or double room we can offer you a discount, see above. We will be traveling by 4x4 each day to pre-arranged stops. The price of this includes hotel accommodation as specified above and transport throughout the trip.
Flights will cost just over £200 per person - we normally fly with Iceland Express. We will check availability of flights, book our seats, then advise you of our booking. This way you are able to book on the same flight as us and even book seats around us if you feel so inclined. We will meet at a pre-arranged place at the airport, and once altogether we would board the plane as a group.
Food wise, we will stop during the day for snacks and drinks (allow £10), returning to a 2 course evening dinner at the hotel for around £20. Alcoholic drinks are expensive in Iceland, but tea, coffee and soft drinks are more reasonable.
