| Our Lemur and Lions photography day is an unique wildlife photographic experience, available for all levels of photographic skills. We have negotiated special early entry to the park and special over the barrier access in the Lemurs woods and the Wallaby Walkabout enclosures, we will also have a structured private photo shoot with reptiles and snakes. These sessions will enable us to be within touching distance of these wonderful animals giving us the opportunity to capture stunning close up imagery. The park is just in the process of opening a brand new lion enclosure with a pride of 13 lions, that have been rescued from Romania. We will be given time to explore this enclosure along with Meerkats, Camels and The Painted Hunting Dogs (the rarest carnivore in Africa) The day will start at 8.45am prior to the park opening to the public. There will be a short health and safety briefing, which is an essential part of the day due to the access we will enjoy. This is then followed by a short lecture, giving hints and tips on getting the most out of the day from a photographic perspective. We will normally work in groups of up to 10 and will be attended by 2 qualified professional photographic tutors and a game keeper who is able to persuade the animals to "pose" for your camera.

will break at 11 for refreshment break and 12.30 for lunch.
As you can imagine, the cost of running this facility is very high, but the conservation and rescue work is vital for the survival of these animals. By attending our workshop you will not only have a fabulous day with unique opportunities to photograph and get close to these magnificent animals, but you will also be helping to support the good work of the Yorkshire Wildlife Centre.
