NOCN Qualifications

We are working with the National Open College Network (NOCN) to bring you nationally accredited photography qualification. This is available as level 2 and 3 an add ons to our e-learning courses and to our location based 3 day photography courses.

When booked in conjunction to a 3 day Masterclass you will still be allocated a user name and password to access to the learning materials on the DMC Photography College website. In this situation the units are to be used as supplementary learning material, without individual feedbacks. All feedbacks are given during the 3 day Masterclass.

Your OCN submission is delivered through an additional unit that is completed at the end of your chosen course and is submitted via email. The submission is designed as a culmination of your learning and does not contain any extra learning materials. Each course is accredited and certificated by NOCN.

Although each of our course are accredited and certificated in their own right, they can also be converted in to larger qualifications. We offer 3 larger qualifications through NOCN, Awards, Certificates and Diplomas. To achieve these you will need to complete a number of courses, building up the awarded credits to the required level for each qualification.

The charges are to cover the administration and accreditation costs and includes the OCN certification.

OCN is the leading credit-based Awarding Body in the UK, offering high quality, flexible, credit-based qualifications and is accredited by the Regulatory Authorities in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

NOCN qualifications and OCN accredited provision, are delivered through further education and sixth form colleges, universities and higher education institutions, trade unions, TUC education, employers, local education authorities and training organisations, adult and community education centres, and voluntary and community organisations. There are 11 OCNs, one in Wales, one in Northern Ireland and one in each of the 9 regions of England. All OCNs support the delivery of NOCN qualifications, through recognised centres.
