Our Kent Big Cat Photography Safari is an unique wildlife photographic experience, available for all levels of photographic skills. We have negotiated special close up access to all the big cats of an international conservation and breeding centre within the heart of Kent, this centre is not open to the general public. You will you have unrestricted over-the-barrier access that will allow for stunning photographic opportunities and close-up encounters. In fact, this is by far the best access to Big Cats anywhere in the UK! You will normally working in groups of 7-12 (dependant on available staff at the centre) attended by 2 qualified professional photographic tutors and a game keeper who is able to persuade the cats to "pose" for your camera. Currently the centre has Bengal and Sumatran Tigers, together with African Lions, Cheetahs and Amur Leopards. The day will start with a health and safety briefing, which is an essential part of the day due to the access we will enjoy. This is then followed by a short lecture, giving hints and tips on getting the most out of the day from a photographic perspective. You will then be introduced and have access to each of the cats in turn. As we move from enclosure to enclosure your photographic tutors will be with you at all times to advise and identify the optimum photographic opportunities as they present themselves. A buffet lunch will be provided as well as tea, coffee and cold drinks throughout the day. Towards the end of the day we will have time to revisit any of the cats if you so wish, photographing them in the early evening light. As you can imagine, the cost of running this facility is very high, but the conservation work is vital for the survival of these animals. By attending our workshop you will not only have a fabulous day with unique opportunities to photograph and get close to these magnificent Big Cats, but you will also be helping to support an extremely important breeding programme for these endangered species. So if your interested in getting up close and personal with the Big Cats, book your place now. Book Here..>> |
You may be asking "How close do we get to the big cats?" Well, you can see from the images above, we get really close, close enough to stroke, but only when the keeper tells you it is safe to do so. |

Our photographic experience days are an unmissable photographic experience. As we work within small groups we only have limited places available on each date, so please book early to avoid disappointment. The photography experience days are also an ideal present for the hard to buy for. |
