Excellent: Started with First Steps, then Next Steps and have now started doing specialist courses and they really have taken my photography forward. I am now looking forward to tackling areas of photography that I have either avoided or lacked interest in over the years.

Enthusiastic amateur for years, keen on wildlife and landscape photography, but lacking in skill with digital medium.
It has definitely improved my skills, and more importantly, my confidence to do the things I want to do. I have produced much better images and photographic products such as calendars and greetings cards, and even been commissioned to take photographs for a web site.
What I needed was confidence, particularly with the artistic side of photography. The courses have definitely given me that - the feedback is really constructive and I feel I have learned such a lot in the short time I have been doing them.
As a retired person, I'm not looking for another career, but if I can use my photography either to promote our woodland project, wildlife projects in general, or to generate income for our wildlife site, then I'd be delighted. I am also hoping to do more photography for web sites, and to use the skills learned to take better images when on holiday.
